DR Kershaw’s Hospice will benefit from a soul night at Royton Band Club from 8pm on Saturday. Admission is £5.

SHAW Artgroup 26 has an on-going exhibition at Eats & Meats delicatessen and cafe, Market Street, Shaw. All paintings are available for sale and will be changed on a regular basis.
CROMPTON Local History Society meets at Crompton Library tonight at 7.30pm with a talk on “Waterloo to Peterloo”. Admission is £1 including refreshments.
FRIENDS of Dunwood Park hold their AGM at St James Church Hall, at the junction of Salts Street and Milnrow Road, Shaw, on Tuesday at 7pm. The meeting includes a review of the past year, plans for the coming year and new ways for people to become involved in and enjoy Dunwood Park.
SHAW Spiritualist Church, Duke Street, hosts an evening of mediumship with Eric Warden tonight at 7.30pm, with the £2 admission in aid of church funds.
A CHARITY night in aid of the Myelin Project takes place at Royton Band Club from 7.30pm on Saturday, February 4.
VOLUNTEERS are needed to do face-painting at a charity day for Dr Kershaw’s. It takes place at the Dog & Partridge pub in Middleton Road on Sunday, February 12.
PLANS submitted to Oldham Council include the change of use of a residential property at 331A Rochdale Road, Royton, to a sandwich shop.
