POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a taxi driver was assaulted and robbed on the Duke of York car park at 2.40am on Monday, May 7.
Three people were witnessed leaving the scene. Ring 101 to provide information or ring Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
LUCIANNA Jefferies and Lauren Marson from Year 11 at Crompton House School saw their winning art designs for Gola sports equipment on display at London’s Carnaby Street store. The pair were given £100 to spend in the store before enjoying a day out in the city.
Crompton House School pupils and parenta will be washing cars at school from 9am until noon on Saturday to raise funds for their changing lives expedition to Ecuador next year.
