All this is on offer at Crompton House School, where the Ecuador fundraising group is running a summer fun-day with something for all the family on Saturday, July 7, from 11am. Book a car boot sale stall on 01706 661392.
MEET your local police team at Bullcote Green Park, Royton, tomorrow and Saturday. Officers will be on hand to speak to the public at a concert in the park between 7 and 11pm tomorrow, and at a fun-day on Saturday, running from 10am-4pm.
AGED between 13 and 19 and at a loose end? Then try Royton Youth Centre, Chapel Street, where you can play pool, other games and join in topical workshops. Fridays (6-9pm), Tuesdays and Thursdays (6.30-9.30pm), 30p.
TEACH your tot to swim with Aquatot, Crompton Pool, Farrow Street, Shaw, tomorrow, 1pm.
BABIES and toddlers with a parent or carer can enjoy fun singing and movement with “Tune Time” at Heyside United Reformed Church, tomorrow, 10.15am. Call Rachel Marshall 0778 6664207.
VOICE local concerns to police next Thursday at Trinity Methodist Church, Radcliffe Street, Royton, 10-11am.
ENCOURAGE a love of reading and books in the under-fives at Crompton Library, Farrow Street East. Tomorrow and every Friday, 9.45-10.45am.
Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Turf Lane, Royton, holds a fundraising garden party on Sunday, noon-4pm. Lots of stalls. Admission £2, children free.
