TICKETS are now on sale for Dr Kershaw’s Christmas concert on Thursday, November 22.
From 7.15pm, tenor Martin Toal will be at Oldham Parish Church with special guests including pupils from St Joseph’s School. Tickets £5 adults, £3 children, from the Oldham Chronicle, Union Street, the hospice and the church.

ROYTON Local History Society is hosting a talk on the history of the police force. The talk covers from the early 1800s to the present day and also reveals a snapshot of the history of Oldham Borough Police Force. The society meets at Downey House, Royton, from 7.30pm on Monday.
ROYTON Community Forum takes place from 7pm on Monday at Royton Youth Centre in Chapel Street.
DISCUSS policing issues at the Shaw and Crompton Community Forum (formerly PACT) from 6pm on Tuesday at Laurel Bank Day Centre in Kershaw Street.
A charity fashion show is being held at St Paul’s church parish centre, Royton, from 7.30pm tomorrow. Entrance is £2 for adults and £1 for children.

WHERE can you find a raft of gifts, cards, jewellery and crafts? At Dr Kershaw’s Christmas market. It takes place on Sunday from noon-4pm at the Turf Lane site. Admission is £1.
