Shaw is filled with Christmas spirit following the switch-on of the high street’s Christmas illuminations.
Oldham Athletic player David Mellor performed the switch-on, which excited a huge crowd.
Santa Claus stopped by, while the Parents Forum of Shaw and Crompton Children’s Centre organised gift stalls, craft activities, face painting and tombola.
Delph Youth Band and St. Joseph’s School carol singers also took to the street to provide musical entertainment.
