MAKE your own willow wreaths and decorations from scratch at Dunwood Park on Sunday, from 11am until 3pm.
Organised by Oldham Council, Groundwork Oldham and Rochdale, Dunwood Park Friends Group and Shaw and Crompton Parish Council, residents can join in for free.
DISCUSS crime issues at a police surgery at Shaw Library, Farrow Street, on Thursday, from 9.30 to 11am.
BEES Knees Trinity pre-school in Royton made £111 for Children In Need by selling cakes and buns made by the youngsters’ parents.
ROYTON Local History Society’s vice-chairman Doug Ashmore will entertain members with a selection of humorous poems by Lancashire writers at its meeting at Downey House, Royton, on Monday, December 10, from 7.30pm. Festive refreshments will be available.
BETHESDA Church, in Royton, is asking for donations of new toys to help children in the area this Christmas. Goods can be dropped off at the church between 10am and noon and 6 and 8pm this week.
A CAR crime initiative is taking place at Elk Mill retail park on Tuesday, December 11. It takes place from 10am until 4pm.
