DELLA and James Wright from Royton, raised £193 at Asda Living, Elk Mill on January 17 and £389 at Asda Chadderton on January 19 for charity.

BLOOD donors are needed for sessions at Trinity Methodist Church, in Radcliffe Street, Royton. Donors can visit between 1.15 and 3.30pm or 5.15 and 7.30pm tomorrow.
SHAW & Crompton Parish Council is collecting unwanted gifts that would be suitable for tombola or raffle prizes in aid of its chairman’s chosen charities. Donations can be dropped off at the parish council office in High Street, Shaw, between 9.30am-3pm Monday to Friday.
COME to Jubilee Colliery in Milnrow Road, Shaw, to discover its history and the findings from an exciting heritage project. The event takes place from noon to 3pm on Sunday and there will also be the chance to win a aircraft flight over Oldham.
A COMMUNITY Forum Meeting (formerly PACT) is taking place for Shaw and Crompton residents. It starts at 6pm on Tuesday, February 5, at Holy Trinity Church.

WRVS Luncheon Club, Over 60s Monday Club and St James East Crompton Church all received £250 grants from Shaw and Crompton Parish Council towards the cost of Christmas meals.
