HEYSIDE neighbourhood council is holding a family sports day on Saturday at Bullcote Park. Races include the 50m, egg and spoon race and sack race and the action gets under way from 1.30pm.
Music will be provided by Oldham Community Wind Band and Saddleworth Donkeys.
A SUMMER fair will be hosted by East Crompton St James’ School at the school on Saturday from 11am to 2pm. There will be a a BBQ, craft stalls, a bouncy castle and much more. Admission is £1 for adults and children get in free.
SHAW and Crompton district executive and community forum will be held at Shaw Lifelong Learning Centre, High Street, on Tuesday, from 7.30pm.
TWINKLE Twinkle Baby and Tune Time takes place at Heyside United Reformed Church, Hebron Street, on Fridays between 10.15 and 11.15am where parents and children can share songs and music.
A FAMILY fun weekend takes place on Saturday June 28, and June 29, on the Kershaw Street car park organised by Shaw and Crompton Parish Council.
