Weekend of fun

A FAMILY fun weekend organised by Shaw and Crompton Parish Council takes place on Saturday and Sunday on the Kershaw Street car park.
FRIENDS of Dunwood Park are looking for volunteers to help out in the cafe, around the park and with community events. Visit www.dunwood park.org for more information.
St Mary’s school, Rushcroft Road, is hosting a family funday on Saturday. There will be a donkey derby, stalls, inflatable slides and a bouncy castle.
A SUMMER fair will be held at Rushcroft Primary School on Saturday from 11am to 2pm. There will be a a BBQ, craft stalls, a bouncy castle and much more. Admission is 50p for adults and children get in free.
CROMPTON House holds its Summer Music Concert on Wednesday, July 9 at Uppermill Civic Hall starting at 7.30pm.
