Spooky party

THERE will be a Halloween Party at Crompton Bowling Club tomorrow from 6.30pm, featuring a fancy-dress parade, pumpkin competition, face painting and food.
There will also be children’s games and craft activities. Proceeds will go to club funds.
SHAW United Reformed Church will host a table- top sale and craft fair on Saturday from 9.30am. Stalls are £8 each. Call 01706-848 555 or 01706-844 899 to book a place.
A second-hand book sale takes place at Heyside United Reformed Church in Hebron Street on Sunday from 12.30-3pm.
