Vehicle theft

A VEHICLE was stolen in Beal Lane at 7.15am on Monday.
The driver was delivering newspapers and stopped outside a shop leaving the engine running. They returned to see an offender, described as white, aged 17 or 18 and wearing a high-vis jacket, getting in the vehicle and driving off.
CROMPTON House School’s Year 8 parents’ evenings take place on Tuesday, January 20, for students in Cocker and Crompton houses and Tuesday, January 27, for students in Ormerod and Ridley houses. Both are from 5 to 7.30pm.
A LAPTOP, three mobile phones and clothing were taken from a property on Buckstones Road on Monday between noon and 7am. Offenders gained entry via forcing a rear door. Vehicle keys for a red Nissan Juke were stolen and the vehicle is still missing.
