MAKE new friends at the Royton and Crompton Over 60s group which meets today and every Thursday, 1 to 3pm, at Dovetails Christian Centre, Kingsmill Industrial Estate, off Shaw Road, Royton. £2, all welcome.
RAISE community concerns tonight at the Shaw and Crompton councillors ward surgeries at Shaw Lifelong Learning Centre, High Street, Shaw, 7.30pm to 8.30pm. No appointment necessary.
RUSHCROFT Primary School, Trent Road, Shaw, is holding an evening of fashion and fundraising tonight from 7pm. The school is hosting a Lucy Cobb fashion show with items and accessories available to buy. Fashion show starts at 7.15pm. £4 a ticket including tea, coffee and refreshments. ENJOY an evening of hit songs from the musicals at the Friday Night is our Music Night event by the Rotary Club of Crompton and Royton on March 11 at St Anne’s Church, St Anne’s Avenue, Royton, 7.30pm. HIGHER Park in Shaw will be partly closed on March 20 and 27 to allow a new water service connection. The park will be closed from its junction at Milnrow Road for 60 metres.
