UNITE with women all over the world tomorrow and take part in Women’s World Day of Prayer at the Salvation Army, Farrow Street, Shaw, 2pm. All women are welcome to attend.
BOWLING teams can sign up on Saturday for the 2016 season at the Shaw Comrades Crown Green Bowling Club, Manchester Road, 10am to 11am at the green. Bring membership cards.
ENJOY a fundraising brew or two on Saturday at a Daffodil Tea at the Salvation Army, Farrow Street, Shaw, in aid church funds, from 3 to 5pm, all welcome.
HELP raise money for the Shaw and Crompton branch of the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) by attending an American Tea on Saturday at St James School Hall, St James Street, Shaw, from 3pm. Bring a gift and buy one. Admission £3.50. All welcome.
LEARN about dry stone walling before taking a walk on Crompton moor with the Dunwood Park Nordic Walkers on Sunday, March 13, at 11am. Meet in Small Brook Road, Shaw.
