WITTY and occasionally down right rude, radio presenter Allan Beswick brings his one-man show to Playhouse 2 in Shaw at 7.30pm, tomorrow. Tickets are £10.



SONGWRITER Clive Gregson — formerly with Manchester quartet Any Trouble — will play tracks from his new solo project Bittersweet, at the Playhouse2 from 7pm on Saturday.

SHAW Parish Church is holding a spring fair with games and a barbecue from 11am-3pm on Saturday.



DONATIONS of baked beans are required for a charity bean bath in aid of Alder Hey Hospital’s Imagine Appeal. The bath will take place at 4.30pm on Sunday at the Summit Inn, Royton.

ST ANNE’S Mother’s Union presents a fashion show at St Anne’s School on Broadway, Royton, from 7.30pm on Wednesday.
