LIFELONG Learning has teamed up with Crompton Library to deliver free taster sessions starting from 2-3pm on Monday, on a range of topics from food and make-up demonstrations to Zumba and woodcrafts.
Places are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis. Call 01706-842 184 to book a place.
ST ANNE’S Church, Royton, is holding a harvest fair from noon- 2.30pm on Sunday. Any donations of jams, preserves or cakes to sell should be taken to the church.

SOROPTIMIST International of Oldham is holding a cake and craft stall next Thursday (9.30-11.30am) at Trinity Methodist Church, Royton. Proceeds to The Oldham Women’s Refuge.
ST PAUL’S Methodist Church is hosting a Macmillan coffee morning from 10.30am on Saturday, October 29. There will be stalls selling soups, homebakes, books, bric-a-brac and cards. Admission is £1.
CROMPTON House School celebrated the 85th anniversary of its founding when the whole school travelled by bus to Manchester Cathedral.
