DELVE into a world of medical magic and mystery at a talk by Anne Ashton on Monday, for Royton Local History Society, at Downey House, Royton, from 7.30pm. All welcome.

PLANNING applications submitted to Oldham Council include one for a two-storey side extension at 36 Hamilton Avenue, Royton, and another to convert a two-storey estate manager’s house in Runnymeade Court, Cardigan Street, Royton, into two apartments.
PLANS to change the use of All Parts, Mossdown Road, Royton, into a treatment facility for vehicles and an MOT centre, and to site six portable and two industrial buildings, have been received by Oldham Council.
