JAMS, cupcakes and jewellery are up for grabs at a fundraiser at Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Turf Lane, from 9am to 1pm on Sunday. Admission is free.



ST Mark’s Parish Hall, Heyside, is the venue for a fundraising rock band and potato pie supper night from 7.30pm on Saturday. It is in aid of the church building fund. Contact 0797-6900894 for tickets.


ENJOY a hot drink at the British Legion in Newtown Street, Shaw, between 9.30am and noon on Saturday. The event is hosted by St Mary’s High Crompton Ladies Society. Admission is 50p with proceeds to the church building fund.


ROYTON Wine Society is meeting at Downey House, from 8pm, on Wednesday.


A FAMILY quiz night in aid of Sport Relief is taking place at Royton Brass Band Club in Sandy Lane, from 7pm, on April 5. A rock band is performing and there will be raffle prizes from Oldham Athletic and Roughyeds. Tickets, available on the door, are £5 adults, £3 children and a family ticket is £14.


PLAY pool or enjoy workshops at Royton Youth Centre in Chapel Street from 6.45pm-9.15pm tonight.
