A POTATO/cheese pie supper will accompany a fine night of music by the Alan Bracewell Big Band. The show starts at 7.30 tonight at Oddies Club, Union Street, with proceeds going to Marie Curie Cancer. Call 0161-626 4466 for tickets.



HOLY Week and Easter services at St Anne’s Church, in Royton, get under way on April 1 with Palm Sunday. Maundy Thursday culminates in Watch of the Passion from 8.30pm-midnight and there’s a host of events on Good Friday. Easter Day eucharists are held at 8.30am and 10am.



SHAW British Legion is holding a coffee morning at St Paul’s Church, Rochdale Road on Saturday.



BARGAINS galore will be up for grabs at Dr Kershaw’s Easter bonanaza between 10am and 1pm on Saturday. Books, jewellery, toys and cakes will be on offer at the Turf Lane hospice.
