A CAR crime and home-safety initiative was taking place today until 4pm at Radcliffe Street car park in Royton. Car crime is an ongoing issue in the area as numberplates are regularly stolen and placed on vehicles which are then used for criminal activity.
FIR Bank Primary School in Royton is banishing the school holiday blues with its multisports week. S7 Multisports Academy is holding the event for four to 12-year olds from 10am-3pm from Monday to Friday, August 20-24. The cost is £5 per day. Book a place on 07732-878 839.
