CHARITY champions will don fancy dress for a cricket match to remember on Saturday.
Members of Royton Cricket Club jave organised a day in memory of Karen Green and Jackie Proctor, who both died of cancer last year, to raise money for local charities.
Karen, a mum-of-three, died from breast cancer in May. Two months later, Jackie Proctor, mother of Lancashire County Cricket star Luke, died from lung cancer.
The event will raise money for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and cancer charity Link4Pink, with entertainment as well as the six-a-side game.
