Royton Townswomen’s Guild celebrated its milestone 50th anniversary this week with the help of founding members.
They gathered for a knees-up at Crompton and Royton Golf Club and toasted their success over a meal for members and guests from other clubs.
The group began in 1962 with a meeting at Royton Town Hall. Membership has gone up and down over the years but currently stands at a healthy 37.
