ROYTON police are still looking for witnesses to a road accident that occurred in Blackshaw Lane at 2.50pm on Friday, April 26.

CROMPTON House School has raised over £4,500 at its spring ball. Cash will go to PTFA funds, which will go back into the school for those extras it could otherwise not afford.

ONCE Upon A Smile and Oldham Athletic, in association with Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, are to hold a fundraising match at Boundary Park on Saturday, with a 3pm kick off. The celebrity side includes a host of famous actors from soaps, including former “Emmerdale” star Danny Miller, along with a number of ex-professionals.


ST ANNE’S Church, Royton, is still looking for unwanted gifts and donations towards upcoming raffles. Anyone who has new toys, chocolates or biscuits can take them along to the church.


Age UK Oldham is holding a life story presentation at the Bulls Head, Heyside, from 3pm on Saturday. The event will feature the life stories of local identical twins Michael and Terence Glynn, aged 83 years.


BLOOD donor sessions are coming to Royton in June.Volunteers are asked to attend Trinity Methodist Church, Radcliffe Street, from 1.15-3.30pm and 5.15-7.30pm on Friday, June 14.
