CHAT about books, life or listen to a guest speaker at Chat and Choose, Royton Library, between 9.30 and 11.30am on Wednesday.
THE annual 3663 charity fun day in support of Make a Wish and Bury Hospice will take place at Heyside Cricket club on Saturday, September 14, noon-4pm. There will be inflatables, zorbing, trampolines, tombolas and live music. To hire a stall call 0161-455 3665.

ADVICE on legal and money matters is on offer at a drop-in session in Royton Library every Wednesday, 9.30am until 12.30pm.
ROYTON Townswomen’s Guild can look forward to a talk by Geoff Scargill, entitled “I never left school”. Visitors and members are welcome for £1 entry, from 7.30pm on Tuesday, September 10, at Royton Town Hall. Refreshments available.
THE Suzettes Morris Dance Troupe is starting up again, with rehearsals on Thursdays from 5 until 6pm. Girls aged three to 13 should meet at St Mark’s Church Hall, Heyside. Sessions cost £2.50.
ROYTON’S Real Food Market returns on Sunday, September 1, on Royton Precinct between 11am and 3pm.
