TEENS looking to keep fit over half-term can visit Royton Glogym tomorrow and Thursday for special sessions.

AN Oldham Coliseum drama workshop for children will take place tomorrow at Royton Library. “My Friend Nigel”, one of the books shortlisted for the 2013 Oldham Children’s Book Awards, will be performed by the Young Rep theatre company (2-3pm).
A special “X-TRA Factor” musical concert for BBC’s Children in Need appeal will be held at Trinity Methodist Church, Radcliffe Street, on Saturday, November 2, at 1.30pm. Tickets cost £5 or £2.50 for accompanied children and are available at the church during Thursday’s coffee morning, 9am- noon, or by calling 0161-624 6249.
DR Kershaw’s Hospice will hold its annual Christmas fair on Sunday, November 3, noon-4pm. It includes stalls selling festive gifts, tombolas, a raffle and a tea room.

ACTIVE youngsters can take part in a half-term multi-sports camp at Oldham Academy North each day this week. Children aged eight to 16 can take part in various activities from £3 a day or £10 for the week, with a Hallowe’en event on Thursday. Children should wear suitable clothing and footwear, and take a packed lunch and drinks to the Broadway-based school.
