ROYTON’S District Executive Meeting and Community Forum will take place at Royton Youth Centre from 6 o’clock tonight.
The meeting is a chance to discuss local issues and concerns with ward councillors and representatives.
TRINITY Methodist Church will be holding a concert featuring songs from the shows on Saturday from 2pm. Tickets, priced £5 adults, £1 children, are available on the door or by calling Jennifer Royal on 0161-264 4437.
FRIENDS of Royton Volunteer Scheme are looking for over-18s who want to get involved in their local area and volunteer. To find out more contact Linda Cain on 0161-770 3850 or Anne Fleming on 0161-770 4344. Support and training will be provided.
DRYCLOUGH Manor Care Home will be holding a garden party on Saturday, July 5, from 1.30pm. There will be stalls, a raffle, bouncy castle and much more. Entrance is free.
HELP save a life and give blood at Royton Trinity Methodist Church, Radcliffe Street, from 1.15 to 3.30pm or 5.15 to 7.30pm on Friday, July 4. Appointments can be made online at www.blood.co.uk.
ST James Church, Thornham, will be holding its annual church garden party on Saturday, July 5, from noon until 2.30pm. There will be cakes stalls, a raffle, tombola, games and face painting. All are welcome.
FAMILIES can take place in the Xplorer navigation challenge at Tandle Hill Visitor Centre on Saturday, June 5. The free event, running from 10am to noon, gives children a chance to navigate the park and learn fun facts.
