POLICE have issued advice to vehicle owners after three cars had their catalytic converters stolen.
One was taken from a car in Luzley Brook Road, Royton, and two other incidents have been reported in High Crompton. The converters, which clean exhaust emmissions contain valuable metals.
Police are advising vehicle owners to park in a garage or a location which restricts access to the underneath of the vehicle and consider the installation of CCTV or a “cat clamp”.
ROYTON Townswomen’s Guild will host its nominations night tomorrow from 7.30pm at Royton Town Hall. The event is a chance for members to become part of the committee and give anyone interested in joining a chance to find out more about the Guild and its events.
A MULTI-SPORTS camp will take place at Oldham Academy North from Monday, February 16 to 20 for children aged eight to 16 Each day costs £4 and the camp runs from 10am to 3pm.
