Police offer plate protection

POLICE are offering free anti-tamper screws to protect against the theft of vehicle number plates in Royton.
Call 0161-856 8825 or email oldham borough@gmp.police.uk with your name and address and the make and model of the vehicle to receive the screws.
PLANNING permission has been granted for the demolition of a garage and the building of a part two-storey, part single-storey side and rear extension at 51 Tandle Hill Road, Royton.
RESIDENTS are being warned to be on their guard and lock up properly after a burglary on Broadbent Close, Royton, in the early hours of Friday, March 11.
JOIN Royton Townswomen’s Guild on Tuesday, April 12, for a look “Beyond the Curtain” with Mike Gurney. The talk, at Royton Town Hall, will take place at 7.30pm. Entrance is £2 for members, £3 for visitors, including refreshments.
ROYTON residents suffering from ill-health may be able to get assistance from the Royton District Sick and Needy Fund.
