Festival support for hospice

SUPPORT Dr Kershaw’s Hospice and have fun on April 26 at a festival of live music, dance performance and much more, including animation workshops, crafts and face-painting. Events get under way at the City Learning Centre, Hollinwood Avenue, from 1.30 to 3pm and 7 to 8.30pm. Organised by the Oldham Creative and Media Group, places are limited. LIGHTER evenings have prompted Chadderton Hall Park’s Pavilion Cafe to stay open until 8pm, seven days a week, weather permitting.
PLANS to replace a stable building at 34 Healds Green are among those received by Oldham Council.

JOIN in the fun at Apfel Lane Community Centre on Easter Saturday at a St George’s fun day, 1 to 4pm.
LUCKY youngsters will be able to tuck into chocolate treats on Sunday if they can track down a prize in an Easter egg hunt at Foxdenton Park. The Easter fair runs from 1-4pm and has all the usual attractions including an Easter bonnet parade, a barbecue and bouncy castle.
