Patrols increase

POLICE patrols have been increased in Firwood Park to target burglary, robbery and vehicle crime. Officers are also tackling anti-social behaviour around North Chadderton School at home time.
A PLANNING application has been submitted for a single-storey side and rear extension and roof alterations at 35 Ferney Field.

CHADDERTON Library, Burnley Street, holds a young people’s reading group for over-eights to young teens tomorrow (4-5pm).
MILLS Hills Baptist Church, Mills Hill Road, has a playgroup from 9.30am to noon, Monday to Friday, and Brownies from 6.30pn to 8pm on Wednesdays.

St Herbert’s Children’s Centre, Edward Street, is holding summer holiday evening courses from Monday, June 13, in subjects which include basic sign language, absolute beginners ICT, rounders for adults, Zumba exercise and children’s art club.
