Roll up, roll up

A Strawberry fair is being held at St Herbert’s Parish Centre in Broadway tomorrow from 10.30am.



The event, in aid of CAFOD, the Catholic aid agency, will include stalls, cakes and a tombola. Admission is £3 including refreshments. Call 0161-628 2933 for details.

VISITORS to St Gabriel’s Church in Middleton Junction can enjoy a strawberry tea as they raise money for children’s charity PCDC on Saturday (2pm). There will be musical entertainment and a raffle. Admission is £2.50.



A Thanksgiving celebration is being held at South Chadderton Methodist Church in Thompson Lane on Tuesday (2pm) to raise money for the Cancer Aid Network. Everyone welcome.



BAG some bargains at a jumble sale at St George’s Church in Broadway on Saturday, June 25, (2-3pm). Stalls will include good-as-new clothes. Admission is 50p in aid of the Meningitis Trust.
