Parking petitions

Chadderton District Partnership has received petitions requesting parking restrictions at Kempsey Court and a pedestrian crossing in Victoria Street.
BUDDING Angelina Jolies and Steven Spielbergs can take part in a three-day film-making course at the the City Learning Centre, Hollinwood Avenue. It runs from Monday to Wednesday next week and costs £15 a day. Contact Irfana on 0161-683 3160.
Chadderton Wellbeing Centre runs a youth-only zone for youngsters aged 11 to 14, on Fridays, 6.30-8.30pm, £2 for two hours, £1 for one. Contact Laura Pearson on 0161-770 1641.
Chadderton Home Watch holds its monthly meeting at the Blue Club, Victoria Street, at 7.30pm on Tuesday.
MEMBERS of Chadderton Historical Society will visit Flixton Parish Church tomorrow. New members are welcome. Meet at Victoria Street car park at 7.15pm to arrange transport or Mill Brow car park at 7.30pm.
SOUTH Chadderton Health Centre has a baby weigh-in and health information drop-in next Wednesday, 9.30-noon.

OASIS Academy Oldham has a sports summer camp for youngsters aged eight to 16 at its Butterworth Lane campus until August 26. Sessions run from 10am to 3pm, £3 full day, £1,50 half day.
