EIGHT to 16-year-olds can take part in free sports sessions in Princess Park, off Princess Road, from 1pm to 3pm on Wednesdays.

A PLANNING application has been submitted to convert a newsagents into a house a 25 Turf Lane. Permission is also sought for a single-storey rear extension at 19 Tulip Close and a first-floor rear extension at 22 Williams Crescent.

THE Boat and Horses is having a fun day on August 27 in aid of Help for Heroes. Attractions include a bouncy castle, and a barbecue (children eat free) with live entertainment from 9pm.
