Football training

Chadderton Park FC holds free football training for the under-fives and under-sixes academy at Clayton Playing Fields from 10am to 11am on Saturdays. People can also follow the club on twitter at Chaddy Park @ChaddyPark.


OLDHAM Photographic Society will be looking at the results of a recent portrait workshop at its monthly meeting at the Blue Club, Victoria Street, on September 13, 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

MEMBERS of Chadderton Historical Society will visit Rochdale Town Hall tomorrow to find out about its Victorian Gothic revival architecture. Meet at Victoria Street car park at 7pm to arrange transport.


OASIS Academy Oldham pupils can pick up their new uniforms from 8am to 4pm on Monday and Tuesday.


A PLANNING application has been submitted to demolish a shop and build a house at 131A Long Lane. Permission is also sought for a first-floor side extension at 54 Parkfield and a single-storey rear extension at 35 Mough Lane.
