THE man police want to question about causing damage at the bookies
POLICE have issued images of a man wanted in connection with two cases of criminal damage at a Chadderton betting shop.
At 8.45pm on Saturday, January 7, a man walked into Ladbrokes at Chadderton Shopping Precinct and used one of the gambling machines. After losing money, he became frustrated and picked up a stool. He then smashed three of the machines before walking off.
The second incident took place on Monday, June 13, 2011 in the same bookies.
Again, he used one of the machines before losing money and picked up a stool, smashing two of the screens before walking off.
The man is described as being Asian, aged 30-40, 5ft 5in tall, of medium build with short thick hair.
He was wearing a brown jacket with epaulets on the shoulder and blue jeans.
PC Jayne Bodgers said: “I would urge people to take a good look at the image and if they recognise him or may have seen him leave Ladbrokes after the incidents, to contact us as soon as possible.”
Anyone with information should phone police on 0161 856 8850 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
