Holiday club

ST Herbert’s Learning Centre, Edward Street, is holding an Easter holiday club for three to 11-year-olds from Tuesday, April 10, to Saturday, April 14.
The full day (8am to 5pm) costs £16, £8 for a morning or afternoon session with discounts for siblings.
Breakfast and afternoon snacks are provided, but children attending for the whole day must take a packed lunch. For more information contact 0161-633 1318.
A BEACON will be lit at Chadderton Heights on Monday, June 4, to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. It will be part of a chain of more than 2,600 beacons across the country.

THE Year 10 netball team at North Chadderton School were runners-up in the Under-15s County Schools Netball Championships.
BADMINTON, snooker and table tennis are some of the free activities on offer for 10 to 18-year-olds at Firwood Church, Middleton Road, from 7.30 to 9.30pm on Thursdays.
NEW aqua zumba classes are running at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, from 9.30 to 10.15am on Fridays. Sessions cost £4.75, free for members.
SOUTH Chadderton Youth Centre, Lancaster Street, has a junior club for eight to 11-year-olds from 5 to 6.30pm on Tuesdays. Admission is 50p.
