KINGFISHER School, Foxdenton Lane, has launched a new website www.kingfisher.oldham.sch.uk.


THE planned car boot sale at Chadderton Hall Junior School, Chadderton Hall Road, on Thursday, May 24, has been cancelled.

RESIDENTS in Denton Lane will be giving their street a red, white and blue makeover. They are holding a street party on Monday, June 4, to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. A beacon will also be lit at Chadderton Heights Farm at around 10pm on the same day.


NORTH Chadderton School pupils will be getting dressed up to arrive in style at their school prom at Hotel Smokies Park, Bardsley, on June 22.

THE winning design for the the new Firwood and district community centre will be announced at a gala dinner the Bower Hotel, Hollinwood Avenue, on Friday, June 22. All the competing designs will also be on display at the hotel from 10.30am to 4.30pm on the day.
