THE search is on for the new Chadderton Prince and Princess for 2012/13.
The roles are open to current Year 4 children who will be crowned at Chadderton Day in Foxdenton park on July 14.
They will also switch on the town’s Christmas lights. Application forms are available at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, and must be submitted by July 4.
Whitegate End Primary School, Butterworth Lane, is holding a gala day from noon to 3pm on Saturday, June 30. Attractions include a bouncy castle,tombola, face painting and crafts stalls.
GET your body moving whatever your age at St Herbert’s Learning Centre, Edward Street. Four to 11-year-olds can take part in street dance sessions from 5.45 to 6.30pm tomorrow and every Thursday (£3) and there is Zumba for adults from 6.30 to 7.15pm the same day (£3.50). ELEVEN volunteers from Chadderton Events Committee completed a food hygiene course at Community Skills Development Agency. Middleton Road. Managing director Neil Flynn offered the course at half price to Chadderton District Partnership for people who serve food at community events.
