“WATERLOO Road” local star William Ash handed out prizes at an awards afternoon for years seven, eight and nine at North Chadderton School, which he once attended.
The school’s recent sponsored walk also raised £6,860 for Dr Kershaw’s Hospice, Royton.
OLDHAM Marie Curie Group is holding a quiz night at North Chadderton Bowling and Social Club, Broadway, on Thursday, July 25. Tickets, priced £5, include a potato pie or cheese and onion supper. To enter teams of four to six contact Kim Brown on 01706-846 989.
