CHADDY Park FC Under-sevens are hosting a family fun day at the Railway and Linnet Pub, Middleton Junction, from 1pm on Sunday to raise funds.
Entry is £2 for adults, £1 for children and free for players.
CHILDREN will enjoy “Creepy House”-themed activities at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, on Friday. Four to 11-year-olds can take part in crafts and storytelling from 2 to 3.30pm as part of a summer reading challenge.
ANYONE with dementia in the family can attend a free workshop at Chadderton Youth Centre, Lancaster Street, from 9.30am to 1pm on Thursday, September 19. Topics covered will include techniques to manage behaviour. For information contact Debra Sparks on 01457-874 566.
PITCHES are available at a car boot and table-top sale at Chadderton Over-60s Centre, Broadway, from 10am to 2pm on Sunday, September 29. They cost £7 for inside and £5 for outside. Contact Maggie Hurley at Age UK Oldham on 0161-621 6102.
RESIDENTS can get housing advice at Chadderton Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, from 10am to noon on Wednesdays.
A PLANNING application has been submitted to convert the ground floor of 202 Fields New Road into a shop.
CHILDMINDERS can attend a support group at Stockbrook Children’s Centre, Albion Street, from 9.30 to 10.30am on Tuesdays.
THE Park Estate committee meeting takes place a 1 Penzance Place, Parkway, from 7 to 8pm on Wednesday, September 18. Anyone who does not normally attend is welcome.
