New road

A PLANNING application has been submitted for a new access road at Manchester Cabins, Tweedale Way.

Details are on the planning application section at www.oldham.gov.uk. Permission is also sought for extensions at 47 Williams Crescent and 76A Higher House Close.

A TEAM of four Year 10 students from Radclyffe School came 11th at the regional final of the Student Investment Challenge in Birmingham. Ben Thornton, Isabelle Schiavo, Louis Smallwood and Luke Summersgill had to invest £100,000 of virtual money on the stock exchange over three months.


The Chadderton-based Oldham Photographic Society holds its annual presentation evening tomorrow at the Blue Club, Victoria Street. 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
