STARFISH Nursery, Queens Road, has submitted a planning application for an extension to create new baby and staff rooms.
Permission is also sought for extensions to houses at 402 Foxdenton Lane and 39 Cathedral Road.
RADCLYFFE School, Hunt Lane, holds its Year 8 parents evening from 6 to 8pm on Thursday, January 15.
FIRWOOD Church, Middleton Road, holds drop-in sessions for 10 to 18-year-olds every Thursday. Activities include badminton, snooker and table tennis.
BEGINNERS gymnastics sessions take place at Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings. For more information contact 0161-207 7000.
SADDLEWORTH photographer and Bolton University lecturer Ian Beesley is the guest speaker at Oldham Photographic Society’s meeting at the Blue Club, Victoria Street, on Friday, January 16, at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £2 for members (£3 guests).
