CHADDERTON Community Church, Garforth Street, holds Busy Bodies physical play sessions for under sixes from 1.30 to 2.45pm on Tuesdays. Sessions cost 50p.
TOOTHBRUSHES and toothpaste are now on sale at all of Chadderton’s children’s centres and cost £1.20 for three items, one of which must be toothpaste. Feeder cups are also available for £1.20.
A-LEVEL biology students from North Chadderton School, Chadderton Hall Road, took part in a field trip to Malham Tarn in the Yorkshire Dales.
CHADDERTON FC Juniors runs a soccer school for boys and girls aged from five to seven at Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, on Sundays, from 10am to noon. No need to book. The club has also produced its own red and black club umbrellas — ideal for parents watching games on rainy days. Orders can be placed with team coaches.
WOMEN who want to learn or improve their spoken and written English can attend sessions at Holy Grove Children’s Centre, Holly Grove, from 9.15 to 11.30am on Fridays.
CHADDERTON Library, Burnley Street, holds drop-in Citizens Advice sessions from 9.30am to 12.30pm and 5 to 8pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Voluntary Action Oldham is also holding a workshop at the library tomorrow to help community groups write bids for grants.
