Try slower-paced walking football rather than hanging up your boots Games takes place at Radclyffe Athletics Centre, Hunt Lane, from 6-7pm on Wednesdays. Sessions cost £3.
CHILDREN can take part in a free monster- making session in Foxdenton Park, Foxdenton Lane, from 1 to 3pm next Tuesday, or outdoor natural arts at the same time on Wednesday, August 19.
ENJOY a walk and a meal with Mills Hill Baptist Church on Wednesday, August 19. Meet at Dovestone Reservoir at 3pm for the walk or the Kingfisher pub, Greenfield, at 6pm for the meal. Sign up on the sheet in church if you want to take part.
FREE family skate sessions take place in Coalshaw Green Park, Coalshaw Green Road, from 1 to 3pm on Wednesdays throughout August. There is free skate loan, and under 16s will have to fill in a consent form. Free family activity sessions also take pace in the park this month from 1 to 3pm on Thursdays and Fridays. Activities include tennis, circus skills and an assault course.
THREE to five years olds can play games, practise their balancing skills and learn how to bow and fall at the new Little Ninjas sessions. They cost £3,50 and take place at Samurai JuJitsu Academy, Stockfield Mill, Stockfield Road, from 10.30 am to 11.15am on Saturdays.
