CHILDREN aged six and under can take part in a free Wee Willie Winkie story session at Chadderton Library, Burnley Street, from 6 to 7pm today.
NEWMAN College is holding a Christmas jumper day on Friday to raise money for the Sylvia Wright Trust which runs projects for disabled children in India. The Broadway secondary school also holds its Christmas concert at 7pm tonight. Tickets cost £4.50 (£2 concessions).
CHADDERTON Wellbeing Centre, Burnley Street, closes on December 24 and re-opens on January 2.
OLDHAM Photographic Society holds its Christmas party and buffet at the Blue Club, Victoria Street, tomorrow, at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.
Enjoy the Just a Little Christmas nativity play at the Crossley Centre, Denton Lane, from 6.30 to 8.30pm, on Friday. Tickets are £1.50 (£1 children).
EIGHT pupils from Radclyffe School, Hunt Lane, who are studying GCSE Japanese found out more about the country’s history and culture during a visit to Manchester University.
