Man charged after city centre stabbing

A man has been remanded to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court today
A man has been charged following a stabbing in Manchester city centre.
Tyreese Morgan, aged 18, of Clifford Court, Old Trafford, has been charged with two counts of grievous bodily harm with intent and one count of possession of an offensive weapon.
He has been remanded to appear before Manchester Magistrates Court today (Monday).
This is in relation to a report made to police shortly before 7:30am on Saturday that a man had been stabbed on Dantzic Street.
Shortly before 7:50am later that morning, a 22-year-old man was taken to hospital from an address in Middleton with stab wounds.
It has since been confirmed that he was the victim of the stabbing.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening
A second man, who was also arrested on Saturday, has been released without charge and will face no further action.
