Man sought after burglary and assault

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a wanted man from Miles Platting.
Joshua Birkett, aged 28, is wanted in connection with a burglary that happened on Friday, October 26, 2018.
He is also wanted in connection with an assault which took place on Thursday, December 27, 2018.
Despite the best efforts of officers who have carried out lines of enquiry, they have been unable to locate him so far.
Birkett is known to have links to Miles Platting, Moston, Harpurhey and the City Centre.
Anybody with information regarding the whereabouts of Joshua Birkett is asked to contact police on 101, or the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
