A florist in Oldham is celebrating after being named in the top 50 wedding florists in the country.

Petal Bloom Tea Room have been recognised for “their unwavering passion for what they do, dedication and experience that has made them grow into one of the best florists in the UK”.

The list has been compiled by GoHen, a website dedicated to weddings.

Their panel has made the decision on the top florists in the UK.

The competition’s winners don’t apply to be included, so for many it’s a surprise to hear that they have been named in the list.

It also means small, local companies get recognition alongside bigger names in the industry.

Donna Watson, from Petal Bloom Tea Room, said: “We are truly honoured to be in the top 50 florists, it’s a massive privilege for us as we pride ourselves on great customer service making sure everyone has a fabulous experience.

“Our cosy tea room has become a great meeting point for the local community as well as visitors from much further a field.

“Our brides and grooms arrive as a customer and leave as part of our petal bloom family.

“We cater for all budgets and are keen to get every last little detail just perfect for their big day.”
