Cars were vandalised at Tandle Hill Park
Cars have been hit by vandals at a country park in Oldham.
Police are now investigating after windows to several vehicles were smashed at Tandle Hill Country Park.
At least five cars were damaged in the incident, which happened on Thursday afternoon.
Officers were called at around 4.30pm to the site in Royton.
Those responsible had already left the scene.
One window of each car, many of which belonged to people walking dogs at the beauty spot, was smashed.
Victims thought it indicated the offenders were opportunistic thieves, though police say enquiries are ongoing.
Officers are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
