Car found after a man is left fighting for his life following efforts to stop it being stolen

Following an appeal from The Oldham Chronicle officers have found what they believe to be the stolen car - which was involved in an incident that's left a man fighting for his life.
The red Citroen C1 was discovered on Parry Walk, off Diamond Street in Ashton-under-Lyne.
Officers are continuing to investigate as those responsible are still on the run.
A 63 year-old man remains in hospital fighting for his life.
Specialist officers are in attendance and are conducting an area search to locate the offenders.
