Greater Manchester teenager arrested in connection with London murder

The 17-year old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was detained following a raid at a property although further details of where the teenager is from or where he was arrested have yet to be released by the Metropolitan Force.
He’s been charged with one count of murder and is due to appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court today (Friday 1st March).
Police say he will then be remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey in London at a later date.
23-year old Glendon Spence, from Lewisham, was attacked at the Marcus Lipton Youth Centre in Brixton at around 6.45pm on Thursday (21st February).
He was pronounced dead at the scene less than an hour later.
Another 17-year old boy was charged with murder on Sunday (24th February) in connection with the incident.
He appeared at the Old Bailey on Wednesday (27th February) accused of one count of murder and was remanded in custody to appear again on Monday 12th August.
